Het seizoen 2006 staat voor het PSI Experience team in het teken van de Le Mans Series en het FFSA GT kampioenschap
maar traditiegetrouw gaat het Belgische team ook van start in de Proximus 24 Hours of Spa. De voorbije jaren is deze race uitgegroeid tot ιιn van de belangrijkste wedstrijden ter wereld voor Grand Tourisme wagens.

Om het op te nemen tegen de topteams uit het FIA GT kampioenschap, die in de Ardennen hun belangrijkste race van het seizoen rijden, zet PSI Experience de grote middelen in: twee Corvettes afkomstig uit de ateliers van het Amerikaanse Pratt & Miller. Deze bolides hebben een indrukwekkend palmares in uithoudingswedstrijden, vooral in het kader van de 24 Uren van Le Mans. De C6-R wordt toevertrouwd aan de Vliegende Nederlander Jos Menten, die het goed naar zijn zin heeft achter het stuur van de Amerikaanse bolide.
Tijdens de Proximus 24 Hours of Spa deelt Menten het stuur met zijn maatje Fred Bull Bouvy en de twee snelle Fransmannen Patrick Bornhauser en Jean-Philippe Belloc. Palttala, Kuismanen, Radermecker en Delhez geven de Corvette C5-R de sporen.
